Pavan and Rita Gupta

Pavan and Rita Gupta have been traveling all over India since 2006, recording and capturing the mages in places like Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Kerala, Delhi, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Sikkim. Significant numbers of these images have become rare since the ground realities have changed.

Our Exhibitions are titled EHSAAS - A Visual Movement. Ehsaas means Realization or Feeling. In the current context, this visual movement is to make the people realize that what we see today may not be available tomorrow. India is changing like the rest of the world but the change in India is destroying the very culture of this ancient civilization.

Blake Kern

“I begin with an idea or sense of where I want to go, and by the end of the process I often find myself somewhere unexpected. The piece just takes on a life of its own. I know when the piece is complete because it just feels right.” My goal is to not only evoke an emotional response, but to tell a story.

Blake Kern, an Oceanside resident who has lived in North County since 1975. Married for nearly 43 years, she has two adult children, and two grandchildren. Blake is a retired educator and is enjoying her new found time exploring her personal creativity. Blake has found her niche in collage and mixed media work, whether it be on canvas, in a box, or a book. Blake enjoys writing poetry, which becomes the story behind the art in her sometimes rather dark and mysterious books. Creating altered books and altar boxes is a way for her to focus on a particular theme and develop the layers of texture and 3-D effect that is not obtainable with canvas or paper.

Susan LaMontagne

Susan LaMontagne was born in the heart of Los Angeles and currently resides in North County San Diego. She has seen and lived through a lot of what the world has to offer.

After graduating with a degree in Art and doing graduate work in Art History, Susan has done everything from curatorial work to sailing the Pacific and Caribbean to raising two children with her husband.

At this stage in her life, she wants to share her experiences and vision with you through art. She hopes you enjoy.

Cory Whitlock

I am always looking to find ways to share my love of surfing and surfboard making. My father Rusty Whitlock has been a professional surfboard shaper since 1963. He taught me how to surf and I went on to have a professional surfing career in the 90's. My younger brother Ricky has also had a professional surfing career and is now moving toward big wave surfing. In 1997 to further spread our family's love of surfing we started "The Whitlock Surf Experience" a surfing school that is dedicated to bringing our love of surfing to as many people as possible. Every year we teach hundreds of families how to surf and show them the art of surfboard making.

Exploring the moment through Photography became my adventure in life. It has taken me around corners, around countries and around the world. Photography is an amazing medium to evoque feelings and emotions. Adding it to the Natural Beauty of our Planet is my responsibility as a photographer. I adore technology and will use all means to document these precious moments of life in the best way I can, hoping to honor all that is revolving around us...people, places, our planet. Wade Brown

Wade Brown is a well rounded artist that can create a variation of different art pieces. He currently specializes in creating hand sculpted concrete skull planters.

Koi fish and skulls being his main style, you will find them on acrylic paintings, wood carvings and water color paintings.

My name is Sequoia Redbird and I am a native American artist. I paint with the purpose of becoming better every time I paint. My medium is acrylic which I use to create portraits, landscapes and abstract art.

School of Rock - Oceanside CA

We believe the best way to learn music is to play music. We take students from the lesson room to the stage, developing both their confidence and musicianship with programs designed for all skill levels.

School of Rock teaches guitar, bass, vocals, keyboards, drums and combines weekly private music lessons and group band rehearsals to prepare students to take the stage in front of live audiences in an authentic concert setting.

I’m the Founder of Kharma’s ARTist Colony, bringing Kharma and Art together. I earned a Bachelor’s in Arts & Sciences from SDSU.

I’m a watercolorist. I’m a jewelry maker, loving crystals & coastal styles. I'm an Artistic Photographer, specializing in Pets and HS Seniors.

Examples of my work show a wide range of my personality ... from a portrait of my dog, to abstract, to butterflies.

We are a collaborative musical group who loves to make music and entertain everyone around us. Our musical duo at the moment consists of the multi-talented and well known vocalist, model, actress, and artist Natalie Bright. She has been gracing Southern California with her beautiful voice and talent since 2013, and continues to create music as well as play shows throughout the local music scene. On acoustic guitar is Mario Panousos, who has been playing, recording, entertaining, and loving music since as long as he can remember, while traveling from the east coast to the west. He settled in California in 2013, and has continuously collaborated with amazing artists all over, enjoying every musical moment life has to offer. Together, we are spreading the love of music and good vibes everywhere we can, which we believe, is exactly what our world needs today.

Cheryl Ehlers

One of the engines that drives her art is the freedom to express and communicate. Believing art, at its best is creative, expressionist and emotional, Ehlers describes her art as bold and colorful . She believes that art without emotion is not art, and within everyone, your passions should be applied to that which makes you happy. If you believe in yourself, anything is possible.

Cheryl Ehlers is an award winning and published artist, who likes to bring art together with people to share the awareness and value or art into everyone’s lives bringing art awareness to the forefront.” In addition to coordinating the ARTBUZZ1 newsletter for artists, she also co-sponsors art activities, and is the owner and art instructor of a non-profit, The Stardust Arts which serves underserved youth in the community. As the current arts program coordinator for the City of Encinitas, CA, she mounts 50 exhibitions a year for local artists in three galleries, is the curator for the E101 Mainstreet galleries and a “pop-up” named; 10 Hour Gallery, as well as an artist representative for the United Nations, (UNESCO).
